Are sessions indoors or outdoors?
All sessions are outdoors — they're evening sessions. The two exceptions are both on Friday at JESS Ranches: the girls' session in the sports hall, and Strength & Conditioning in the gym.
When does the U3–U5 Tiny Tacklers programme start?
New for 2026/27 — Tiny Tacklers starts on Saturday 3 October, once it cools down. One parent is encouraged onto the pitch alongside their child, and for most of these kids it's their first football experience. Boys and girls together, outdoors at the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club (opposite Arabian Ranches). Register now and we'll confirm the first Saturday nearer the time.
Which age group will my child be in?
Age groups run to the 1 September cutoff, so a child's group for 2026/27 is based on their age at the end of the season year, not their age today. Put their date of birth into the schedule page or the registration form and it works the group out for you.
Do we choose which Sunday league our child plays in?
No. Families don't pick a league. The coaches select the squads first, then place each squad in the league that matches its level — usually around the middle of September, once the season has settled. We run three leagues between us: Youth Football League (YFL) (The Sevens · HCT Active · Dubai International Cricket Stadium), DOFA League (ISD Sports City · Kings Al Barsha · Swiss Int'l School), Academy Super League (ASL) (Jumeirah Baccalaureate School · Sundays 08:00–20:00).
When will we know which team and which league?
Around the middle of September. The coaches want to see the players first, pick the squads, and only then enter each squad in the league that fits its level — so nothing is decided at registration.
How much does league football cost?
League play is charged separately from training: AED 450 per term (three terms — AED 1,350 a season). It covers your child's place in the league matches for that term, and it only applies once they're in a squad the coaches have entered into a league.
How long does the league season run?
Two blocks. The winter league runs October – end of February — around 12 games. The summer league picks up after the March break and runs April – early June, with 8 – 10 games.
What is Strength & Conditioning, and who is it for?
A Friday gym session at JESS Ranches, predominantly for our 13+ players — the Youth Development Phase and College Showcase Phase — working on movement, strength, speed and staying injury-free. It's indoors and optional; children can add it at registration from U13 – U17, and we do make exceptions for U12 players who show real interest — speak to the coaches. It's AED 975 for Term 1, AED 900 for Term 2 and Term 3, charged on top of your training fee.
What is the Player Performance Analysis Program?
Something new for this season. Coach Jake qualified in performance analysis this year and the club has bought a camera, so matches get filmed — then each week Jake sits down one-to-one with the player on the iPad, clips up their own game and works through what to keep doing and what to sharpen. Aimed at U12 – U17 initially, and places are extremely limited — just 7 players a term, because proper one-to-one analysis takes real time to do well. Arranged directly with the coaches, who'll talk you through the cost. It's charged on top of your training fee.
What is the Saturday Pre-Academy League?
A league Azul runs for U6 & U7, boys and girls together. Other Dubai clubs enter teams, and we enter one of our younger teams too, so it isn't something you sign up for at registration — the coaches pick the team. Ask us if you'd like your child considered.
What does the term fee include?
The training sessions for your child's group, for that term. Each term is priced separately, because they're different lengths — Term 1 runs 15 weeks, Term 2 runs 12 and Term 3 runs 11 — so you pay for the term you join. If you join part-way through a term you only pay for the weeks that are left — the weeks that have already gone are not charged, and the week you start in counts as a full one. Kit is a one-off AED 450 on your first payment of the season, whichever term you join in — once, not every term. Tiny Tacklers is the exception: there the kit is optional — you choose whether you want it, your child can train without it, and nothing is added to your fees unless you ask for it. League fees, Strength & Conditioning and the Player Performance Analysis Program are all charged separately, and we'll always tell you the number before anything is due.
What's in the kit, is it optional, and is it charged every term?
Kit is a one-off AED 450 on your first payment of the season, whichever term you join in — never a termly charge, and not part of a monthly fee either. Tiny Tacklers is the exception: there the kit is optional — you choose whether you want it, your child can train without it, and nothing is added to your fees unless you ask for it. On Pre-Academy, the Boys Performance Program and Girls Performance every player gets a training jersey, shorts, long socks, a match jersey and a water bottle; after that the Boys Performance Program includes grip socks, and Pre-Academy and Girls Performance include a back pack. Tiny Tacklers is the same amount and we'll confirm what's in it with the club before anything is due.
We want to start now, part-way through the term — do we pay the whole term?
No. These are the full term prices. If you join part-way through a term you only pay for the weeks that are left — the weeks that have already gone aren't charged, and the week you start in counts as a full one. We work the exact amount out for you at registration, so you see it before you pay anything. Two things are never reduced this way: the one-off kit, which is a whole kit whenever you join, and Tiny Tacklers, which is billed by the month rather than by the term.
Is December charged the same as every other month?
No — December is half price, AED 112 instead of AED 225, because of the break. Every other month is the full AED 225. It comes off automatically — there is nothing to ask for and nothing to claim back.
We want to start in the middle of a month — do we pay for the whole month?
No. On the monthly programme you pay for the whole weeks of that month that are left: a week that has already gone isn't charged, and the week your child starts in counts as a full one. If that month is also December, you get both — the reduced rate first, then only the weeks that remain. We show you the exact amount at registration before anything is due, and from the following month it's the usual AED 225.
How do we join?
The first step is always a free trial — come down, train with the group and see if Azul is the right home for your child. If it is, registration for 2026/27 takes about three minutes online.
